Hi, I'm Cat!

I love the outdoors, hiking, camping, and doing yoga. I love to cook and my kids favorite thing to do with me is watch "food" on tv. During a normal day you can usually find me working at my computer with three “Littles” (a pun in my family, because my maiden name is Little, haha) running around. I am a mother of a very independent preteen, a sassy ten year old and an energetic Kindergartener.

I am now doing what I love, which is creating beautiful family portraits for you and your family to cherish for years to come. I am a bit of a perfectionist and am constantly looking for ways to improve as a human being, mother, wife and of course a photographer.

I was born and raised in a small town in northern Minnesota. I grew up in the country helping out on my uncle's farm and loving animals, riding horses, milking cows, herding cattle, and raising chickens and showing rabbits in 4H and ARBA.

My dream was to someday become a veterinarian. I started to pursue that dream in college and started working as a vet tech. I quickly found out it wasn't quite right for me and decided to go back to school and major in art history instead and eventually landing on photography as my medium.

It was there that I fell in love with my amazing husband. Afterward, we moved to the Pacific Northwest where I went to the Art Institute of Seattle for photography. It wasn't long after school that I had my first child and immediately put my photography career on hold.

We ended up moving to Colorado where my photography business really started to thrive. I still miss those mountains, but I really love where our lives have taken us … back to the midwest. We have now relocated to Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
